  You have to know this place exists as it's off the main route. But once you find it you will probably be going back. Serves all day breakfast, and if you are wondering if what you want is on the menu it probably is. The list of combinations is huge. Be careful though, some of the plates coming out from the kitchen were going to make sure you won't leave feeling hungry. I stopped here while cycling and found lots of other cyclists had done the same. Plenty of tables to sit at. I can imagine this place gets very busy in the summer.

  Came here early morning on a Wednesday with my daughter and my mother, the service was outstanding and the food was perfect! Will defiantly be coming back here again! Your carats big breakfast hit the spot. Amazing.

  I think the Carat's Brekkie might be the best breakfast in Brighton & Hove (definitely in the top 3!) It's a well presented and very traditional style English fry up (but not greasy like some cheap cafes). The quality of the ingredients is very good. Not the cheapest in Brighton but you get what you pay for! Friendly staff and nice views out to sea.

  Nice spot on weekdays where you will find a seat, but be aware on weekends especially with good weather, the place will be rammed! After all, that is a good sign because the food and drinks are tasty. Classic British scran, nothing poncy; roasts, bacon rolls, jacket potatoes, cake etc to be washed down with a beer if you so wish while enjoying the sea view.
